Summer Meeting, Picnic and Minutes Corrected

This meeting was to discuss the upcoming 2021 Young Bird Season.

The two choices for flying direction was South and North/South. A vote was held-

All one way- Vote  6 Abstain 1 /South- 4, North- 3

Passed to fly all South.

Vote for race start date- 9/11 Vote-2, 9/18 Vote-5 Abstain 1

The dates agreed to were September 18- October 23 (6 weeks)

Flying members were canvassed for approximate number of young birds.

Shipping limits per week will be 25 for A releases and unlimited for B releases

The A races from Santaquin and Scipio will be unlimited

Awards were announced for the 2021 Old Bird Season-Results are to be posted on the club website – Snake River Valley Racing Pigeon Club along with the 2021 Young Bird Schedule

Holland Dredge volunteered to have shipping at his shop location 4317 E 100 N Rigby, ID

Holland Dredge and Gary Holyoak have volunteered to learn how to run the club computers.

Because Alan Dial will not be flying Young Birds, Gary Holyoak was selected as the third member of the Race Committee along with Holland Dredge and Rich Dingman.

Vote for crating fee- 10 cents Vote-6  15 cents Vote-0 Per bird shipping fees will be 10 cents a bird weekly to help the club treasury.

Volunteer drivers will be paid 50 cents per mile on races under 250 miles and 65 cents for races over 250 miles
